I Give You...Chelsea Arnold!

Hello everyone! Long time no see, eh? This post will hopefully be one of many. Chelsea Arnold is the lovely lady behind "Let's put our hearts together," a new fashion blog. Recently, Chelsea entered the Next Model Competition, where she's got a great position. I wanted to know more about the girl in the photo, as I'm sure you do to, so we had a little interview. I am happy to have the pleasure of introducing, Chelsea.

The Interview

R: Hi Chelsea, I love your blog “Let’s put our hearts together” and I really find you outfit posts inspirational. Why did you decide to start a blog? What is your blog focused around?
C: I’m so glad to hear that you like my blog; it’s so lovely to know that people are reading and finding my blog interesting. Initially I made a blogspot account purely to follow other fashion blogs. I started off with a Lookbook account and then decided that it would be nice to have more space to add some detailed images and explanations or descriptions about my outfit. And I’ve just continued with it :) My blog is mainly focused on things that inspire me and what I’ve been wearing/wanting recently.

R: I understand you are fairly new to the blogging world but even so, what advice would you give to anyone who is interested in joining the world of fashion blogging??
C: My advice would be to just go with it, even if you think you have nothing much interesting to post (which is what I thought with some posts), you can look at other people blogs and get a feel for what people enjoy reading and find interesting. Also I would say to try and keep your blog interesting, don’t post a blog post every day to fill in gaps, go out and take photos or do something interesting that you can talk about on your blog later.
R: What is your favourite thing about being a blogger/what’s your favourite experience been so far?
C: I’m relatively new so I’m sure I have more fun things to come, but honestly the best thing is when I get a comment or a new follower. It’s lovely to know that people are reading what I’m writing.
R: You entered the Next Model Competition, congratulations!! Why would you like to win?

C: I didn’t really enter with the intention of winning the whole competition, but I would love just to get into the top 250 because then I get to go to the academy in London for the day. I am not that sure how I would feel about being a model, but I have always wanted to take part in a fashion show/runway just once!! So Votes would really be appreciated! :)
R: You do quite a few outfit posts on your blog as well as on Lookbook, how would you describe your personal style?
C: Recently there have been a lot of plain old outfit posts on my blog because of it being my exam period but now I’m free I hope to make it much more interesting.
My own style I think is difficult to describe because I like a lot of different things. I think my style is a little mixed up, it usually depends how I feel on the day as I like lots of different styles and wouldn’t like to stick to just one. I don’t like to be too girly because it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable, so I will add a leather jacket/boots to make me feel more like myself. I love heels and structured handbags, also in love with turban style headbands at the moment.
R: Finally, what is your most treasured clothing/accessory you own and why is it important to you??
C: This is a difficult question, as a handful of items come to mind. I’m quite tempted to say my Jeffrey Campbells because they are my most expensive item of clothing, but I am going to go with my relatively new D&G blouse as it was a present from my boyfriend for our 3 year anniversary! I haven’t dared to wear it outside the house yet in case I get anything on it!!

A big thank you to Chelsea Arnold!! And fingers crossed for your exam results! Good luck!

Please, please please spend just a second voting for Chelsea on the Next Model competition, every vote makes a difference!

Love.
